Open the Galley Please
Residential Repair opened the wall between the kitchen and family room. With new placement of appliances and custom cabinets, we were able to give the same space a new look. Granite counters and breakfast bar improved the seating for casual dining. Hardwood floors with our custom color stain, combined with the paint color and tile softened the whole look.
Where is the kitchen?
This kitchen was hidden behind a center wet bar and closets. The great thing about the center wet bar was the water source! Residential Repair brought the whole kitchen forward and put the breakfast nook in the back. This was a huge transformation.
Turn the whole kitchen sideways
The formal dining was behind the wall and closed off. Residential Repair removed the wall between the two and installed new walls for the front living room. This allowed the new kitchen to be turned for a more open concept and share space with the family room. Custom cabinets, hardwood floors, 2 different granites and new fixtures made this kitchen go from a 1 to a 10!
Galley Kitchen Brought to Life
This entire kitchen was brought forward to the large bay window to share space with the family room. Great colors and large tile gave this a real wow factor.
Make it Clean and Change the Focal Point
This kitchen was cramped feeling and the refrigerator was the big elephant in the room. New sleek custom cabinets, re-arrangement of the appliances, and new fixtures opened it up.
Completely Change the Look
Removal of the wall between the kitchen and family room changed everything. With the darker painted custom cabinets and striking granite, the look completely changed. The location of the appliances were moved to make a nicer look.

How long does the average kitchen take to remodel?
This completely depends on the scope of the remodel. In general, a light update can take 1-2 weeks and a full gut of a kitchen can take 1-2 months. Generally, we will order cabinets before this timeline begins and when they are ready to deliver, the tear-out will begin. This allows use of your existing kitchen as long as possible.
Do you use licensed plumbers and electricians?
Our tradesmen that require licenses (Electricians, Plumbers, and HVAC) all have licenses. Oklahoma does not have licenses for builders or General Contractors. Residential Repair is registered with the Secretary of State of Oklahoma to do business and carries $1,000,000.00 in General Liability Insurance.
What does a light refresh include?
Residential Repair can replace the countertops, backsplash, lighting and plumbing fixtures for a new look, without removing the existing cabinets or plan.
The second most popular light update is to open a wall up and provide a new granite countertop with barstool seating.
